Adding a News entry
This tutorial goes through the whole process of publishing a News item.
- Link to send a message to a contact.
- Link to a document.
- Make some text BOLD and add a Heading
- Add an image into the text flow.
- Add a gallery of photos.
On some sites you can also categorise the News to make it easier to find specific subjects in the news archive.
Note: If you want to start a new line but not a new paragraph hold down the shift key when you hit return/enter.
You can save a draft version of an entry, this will not be visible on the public site. So you can either create a new entry and start working on it then click the down arrow on the 'Create Entry' button and save as a draft. Then when you are ready you click 'Create entry' button Or you can be editing an exiting entry and want to save the changes you have made but not want to publish them yet, then you click the 'Create a Draft' button.
